Chooi Peng graduated with Bachelor of Law (Second Class Upper Honours) from the University of Leicester, England in 2000. Chooi Peng commenced her career in civil litigation in 2003 after admission to the Malaysian Bar in January 2003. Chooi Peng spent 7 years sharpening her skills in banking and general litigation and mastering her forte in the niche specialized area of the probate and administration law before joining Justin and Alvin as a team in end of 2009 which fortified the formidable team. Company and shareholders’ disputes – Chooi Peng has also conducted many company and shareholders’ disputes and related actions by or against a company including winding-up petitions based on just and equitable principles and other grounds apart from insolvency, minority actions, derivative actions, applications for validation orders as well as for accounts and audit under the Companies Act 1965. Winding-up actions against companies, insolvency law and bankruptcy actions against individuals.
